Roland VC-1-DL Video Converter

The Roland VC-1-DL is a versatile video converter designed to facilitate bidirectional conversion between SDI and HDMI formats, making it an invaluable tool in live production, broadcast, and recording applications. It ensures high-quality, lossless image conversion while maintaining the original video’s color and brightness characteristics. The device supports both Level A and B 3G-SDI, accommodating a wide range of high-definition video sources.

One of the standout features of the VC-1-DL is its frame synchronization capability, which allows for precise alignment of audio and video signals. Users can independently adjust audio and video delays up to 4.5 frames (9 fields), ensuring seamless synchronization between various video components, such as cameras, projectors, and LED walls.

The converter is HDCP compliant, enabling the handling of protected content without issues. It offers selectable audio embedding and de-embedding, providing flexibility in routing audio signals to and from video devices. Additionally, the VC-1-DL supports digital AES/EBU input and output, ensuring high-fidelity audio transmission.
